Soil beauty of Maninjau West Sumatra - If you visit Maninjau then you can visit the various attractions. Attractions in Maninjau are basically divided into three types of objects Nature, History and Cultural objects, and objects of Special Interest. Among the three types of tourist attraction, natural attractions is the dominant attraction visited by tourists.  Natural Attractions

The shape of the natural attractions in the form of natural beauty is very natural, with hills and mountains, waterfalls, baths, and panoramic views of the lake. Natural attractions found in Maninjau consists of:

A.    Park of Muko-Muko

Muko-Muko is an area located on the banks of Lake Maninjau adjacent to hydropower. This place serves its own charm because it is supported by a number of facilities such as recreational parks, places of worship, playground and island legend. Muko-Muko tourism park emerged and developed as a result of the construction of hydropower Maninjau.

B.    Aia Tigo Raso

D.    Niagara Gadih Ranti

Ranti Gadih waterfall is located 1.6 km from the highway Lubuk cone-Maninjau and adjacent to the irrigation dam Trunk Antokan. F.     Maninjau

Lake Maninjau Agam district located about 140 km north 38 km west of Padang and Bukittinggi. Lake arising from the eruption of Mount Merapi have a depth of 495 meters and is located at an altitude of 461.5 meters above sea level. Wide lake reaches 99.5 square km lake have notedthis as the 2nd largest sea in West Sumatra after Lake. Batur and the 11th largest lake in Indonesia.

Minangkabau people, especially people Maninjau believe the legend behind the formation of the lake, the "Single Nine", as described on the previous page. Maninjau many birth figures, among others Buya Hamka and Rangkayo Rasuna Said (1910 to 1965). Rasuna Said heard the name, you surely remember the name of the HR. Rasuna Said contained in brass.
